Unfortunately, James awoke yesterday morning with the stomach bug/fever thing. Poor baby. Fortunately, his bug only lasted about 24 hours (as did mine) and he's over it now. Despite his tummy hurting, James still wanted to keep playing. Trying to keep this kid still to rest up is like pulling teeth! I had to bribe him with watching DVDs just so that he'll sit still for at least a little bit. Needless to say, Sean is waiting with bated breath to see if he catches it next. I just hope he doesn't get it when we go to court!

Since James was sick yesterday we split our visits with Michael. Sean took the morning visit, and I took the afternoon visit. Both visits went very well - Michael has a lot of tickle buttons, and it cracks me up because he literally screams when he sees you coming in to tickle him!

Last night the adoptive families got together again at the Kaplans' apartment. James spiked a fever in the afternoon, so I stayed home with him while Sean attended. More people were there last night, as one of the adoptive single moms and one of the Belgian couples also attended. They had a great spaghetti dinner, tried out some more new beers and had good conversation.

This morning when our morning visit was over we got a call from Juliya telling us that we were not to go to our afternoon visit and that there's a possibility we could go to court this afternoon! Apparently, there were some openings on the docket and Natasha was going to see if we and the other families could get moved into those slots. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a false alarm, as they could not take us today. Not to worry, though - court is in only two more days. So, Sean visited Michael in the afternoon, after all. We made the finishing touches to our speeches and are now memorizing them. There was one couple from Belgium with another agency that went to court this morning to adopt a toddler boy, and we are happy to report that the judge gave them a favorable verdict! Hopefully, our process will go smoothly and we'll get the same outcome.

No new pics except one, as we've been preparing for court and have sort of started packing to come home. I'll leave you all with pics of our boys, though!
