Well, the weather has definitely changed in Karaganda, KZ! Just a few days ago the temps were in the 90s (F), but today we'll be lucky to even hit 60 degrees! It's also very windy rght now which is making it feel even colder. Oh, and Sean is sick again. No fever, but his throat is killing him again and his lymph nodes are a little swollen. Once somebody gets well, then someone else gets sick - we just can't win! Let's just hope he feels better by tomorrow!
We tried a new place to eat for lunch today. We forgot to take a picture of the outside of it, but if I rememer correctly it was called Coffee In. Juliya said it's her favorite place to eat and that everything is good there, especially the pastries and coffees. She was right. It was patronized and staffed by young people. I seriously think Sean and I were the oldest ones there - ha! I don't know if we'll get to go there again before we leave for Houston, but hopefully we'll get to eat there at least one more time, maybe when we return for our second trip to pick up Michael.
Well, we have less than 24 hours before court. Even Michael's doctor passed by the Group 4 playroom this afternoon to check on all the babies and said to the babies that tomorrow is a big day! We're scheduled to go to court tomorrow afternoon @ 2:30PM our time, which is 3:30AM early Thursday morning back home in Houston. This is also a new judge for this area that will be hearing our case. So if you happen to be awake that early tomorrow morning, we welcome your prayers, good vibes, good karma and anything else you can send our way!
Before closing out this post, we want to wish my sister, Marilyn, a very Happy Birthday today! Unfortunately, we got sidetracked with the preparations that we didn't get to do a family pic with a sign today, but we'll get one posted up!
We're keeping everything crossed (fingers, toes, eyes, whatever it takes) that we'll have good news to report! Enjoy today's pics and we'll catch you tomorrow!
